The Team
Join the DEMS Application Team, a newly formed group of six professionals, including a Manager, two Business Analysts, and three Jr Business Analysts. This team plays a crucial role in maintaining and securing the DEMS application, which is essential to the justice sector. You'll work closely with other application teams, vendors, and justice partners to help manage and protect sensitive information. We foster a collegial and collaborative environment, where everyone is dedicated to delivering exceptional service.

The Role
In this role, you’ll work closely with users to help them become proficient with the DEMS application by offering support, solving problems, and providing information on new releases or changes. You’ll conduct testing on new features and identify opportunities for business improvements and innovation. Your contributions will be crucial in ensuring that the BC Prosecution Service meets its legal responsibilities regarding disclosure processes, and you’ll have the opportunity to influence the development of this important application.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
•    Diploma, Certification or Equivalent in information technology, public/business administration or a related discipline (may include completion of a recognized Paralegal or Project Management Certificate); OR 
•    An equivalent combination of post secondary education and experience may be considered.
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a legal office environment.  
•    Minimum of 3 years (preferably 4 years) of experience using digital evidence and disclosure management software, may include experience using electronic disclosure solutions, document management or litigation management software. 
•    Experience managing projects from initiation to completion.
•    Experience developing and/or administering training plans, tools and learning resources.
•    Experience using business analysis tools and methods in an information technology environment.

Preference may be given to applicants with:
•    Experience working in a criminal justice setting.
•    Experience working with DEMS.

About this Position:
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 3 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
Enhanced Security Screening will be required.
