Description

The Team
The Partnerships, Performance, and Practice team within the Community Integration Services Branch is a dynamic and action-oriented group dedicated to improving the lives of the province’s most vulnerable populations. Comprising a Director, two Managers, and five Analysts, this established yet evolving team plays a critical role in supporting frontline service delivery by analyzing trends, managing equipment, and ensuring that the voices of those in the field, and the people they support, are heard. With a strong focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion, the team collaborates with a wide range of professionals, from executive directors to frontline staff, all while maintaining a supportive and innovative environment. While the work is demanding and may expose team members to challenging situations, the culture here is one of relentless commitment to making a positive impact, driven by a “why not?” and “how can I help?” mindset.

The Role
In this role, you will oversee and report on encampments across the province, ensuring that data is effectively collected and organized to support impactful reporting and presentations. You will represent the branch at conferences, engage in meetings to provide insights, and collaborate with various partners, including First Nations and community partners, to enhance our programs. By managing a small team and implementing continuous improvement processes, you will play a vital role in connecting B.C.’s most underserved populations with essential financial assistance and navigating the complex social services landscape. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a team that thrives on action and results, all while working towards the ministry's mission of reducing poverty and increasing community inclusion. Please note that the work can be intense and may expose you to challenging situations, but you will be part of a collaborative environment focused on making a difference.
