The Team
The public information team specializes in making complicated information easier to understand and more accessible through plain language and is made up of the forms, web, publications, and outreach teams.

The Role
Are you an analytical thinker with a passion for providing clear, understandable information? Do you like creatively solving design challenges and working collaboratively to produce the best possible product? Do you notice when small details aren't quite right? If so, this Forms Officer opportunity may be for you! The public information team specializes in making complicated information easier to understand and more accessible through plain language and is made up of the forms, web, publications, and outreach teams. Our Forms Officers are responsible for updating our division’s approximately 375 forms and envelopes and creating new forms and envelopes as needed. Most of the division’s forms are filled out by taxpayers and used by Revenue Division to administer taxes and tax credits. Forms Officers maintain a comprehensive database of our forms and envelopes, and they handle printing requisitions for any printed materials needed by the division. Forms officers work closely and collaboratively with their colleagues on the public information team and with our partners in Revenue Division’s program areas to understand business needs and produce comprehensive public information that allows taxpayers to fulfil their tax-related obligations.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Forms design or development experience.
  • Experience collaborating with customers/clients to determine needs.
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • Preference may be given to applicants with Adobe InDesign experience.

This is a temporary opportunity until 06/06/2025, which may be extended and/or become permanent.
Remote work is allowed, this position can work up to full time from their home in British Columbia subject to an approved telework agreement. The locations listed above are to assist applicants in searching for this opportunity and are not a complete list of locations.
