The Team
The System Innovation and Development Team in the Business Modernization department is a fun and energetic group focused on making our systems work better and faster. With a team lead and three Business Analysts, you'll team up with Development experts, Process Analysts, Service Desk staff, and managers. This team is all about improving online government services and making things better for both citizens and staff.

The Role
As a Senior Process and Project Analyst, you'll take charge of exciting projects that make a real impact on how we improve our systems. You'll be at the heart of a vibrant team, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and adds value for both citizens and staff. Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Degree in business administration, social sciences or equivalent; OR 
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in supervising staff including recruiting, assigning work, monitoring and evaluating performance.  
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience managing systems projects, or project components and implementations.
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience working with employment programs and contract management.
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience working with Integrated Case Management in an employment services context.
     

Preference may be given to applicants with one (1) or more of the following:

  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience troubleshooting the Integrated Case Management system in an employment services context.
  • Business Analyst experience in Social Development and Poverty Reduction.
  • Experience leading system testing.
     

Provisos:

  • This position works virtually with staff and stakeholders across the province.
  • Occasional travel is required.
  • Must be able to successfully balance numerous and sometimes divergent goals and priorities.

About this Position:
This is a temporary opportunity until September 1st, 2025. A permanent appointment may result from this temporary appointment.
Remote work is allowed, this position can work up to full time from their home in British Columbia subject to an approved telework agreement. The locations listed above are to assist applicants in searching for this opportunity and are not a complete list of locations.
