Our Incident Management team plays a vital role in resolving incidents that impact IT services such as hardware, software, and network connectivity. We're a small, knowledgeable established team known for being responsive and helpful, and we're looking to expand our group to continue delivering exceptional service

The Role
As an Incident Management Supervisor, you'll work closely with the OCIO Service Desk to monitor activities and keep everyone informed. You’ll provide essential support for ministries and public sector partners, ensuring smooth IT services and helping to resolve major incidents. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team at the center of all IT changes and initiatives.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Diploma or certification in computer science or similar field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in the supervision of staff or vendors in a technical environment.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience managing IM/IT services.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience working with IM/IT stakeholders in a complex environment. (e.g. clients and internal service delivery units or vendors).
  • Experience working in a complex, frequently changing enterprise-wide IT service delivery environment. Including but not limited to critical IT infrastructure (e.g. network and voice), hosted data center services, network security services.

Preference may be given to candidates with:

  • Experience providing or supervising customer support services in an Information Technology environment (e.g. service delivery or service desk).
  • Experience in data analysis (e.g. service desk ticket data analysis)
  • Experience in a ServiceNow ITSM environment.
  • Applicants with ITIL Service Management Certification.

About this Position:
Remote work is allowed, this position can work up to full time from their home in British Columbia subject to an approved telework agreement. The locations listed above are to assist applicants in searching for this opportunity and are not a complete list of locations.
