The Team
The Services Team is an established group of 11 members, including Client Support Coordinators, Client Support Analysts, Workstream Primes, and a Services Team Lead. They collaborate with other teams across the branch, division, and ministry to enable technology that supports Citizens' Services staff. The team values service excellence, teamwork, and a modern approach, using agile and scrum to organize their work and deliver impactful services.

The Role
As the Workstream Prime, you'll lead the asset management workstream, overseeing mobile device accounts for citizens' services and supporting the Ministry's rolling refresh. You'll work closely with clients to identify their technology needs, develop business cases, and translate processes into technical specifications. This position is ideal for someone excited to work on new technology projects, support modernization efforts, and collaborate within a dynamic, forward-thinking team. Your work will directly impact the delivery of technology solutions across the Ministry.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Diploma or higher in computer science, computer engineering, business administration or a discipline related to the management of IT professionals. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 
  • Minimum two (2) years experience providing business analysis related to integrated custom applications with complex business processes.
  • Minimum two (2) years experience with change management processes and project management methodologies.
  • Minimum two (2) years experience in installation, configuration, maintenance and problem resolution of hardware, software, operating systems, and network components.
  • Minimum two (2) years experience leading IM/IT projects/products or project/product components. 
  • Minimum two (2) years experience researching, gathering, analyzing, verifying systems information; assessing problems and issues; and recommending solutions in an IM/IT setting.


Preference may be given to applicants with:

  • Experience providing business analysis related to integrated custom applications with complex business processes in a Microsoft environment.
  • Experience with IM/IT Agile Product Teams.

About this Position:
This position is based out of the location listed above. 
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to three (3) days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
