The Team
The Assistant Deputy Minister’s Office is a small, collaborative team that supports the ADM and Senior Management Team in achieving their objectives. Working closely with the ADM, Senior Manager of Strategic Planning, Executive Directors, and branch administrative staff, this established team values autonomy, creativity, and flexibility. The Role
As a Executive Coordinator, you will play a key part in supporting the Assistant Deputy Minister by managing their calendar, ensuring meeting materials are prepared, and keeping the Senior Management Team informed of relevant work. Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Completion of certificate in office administration, project management, or equivalent. An equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training may be considered.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in EACH of the following;
    • Experience in a senior administrative/coordinator role, dealing with highly confidential and sensitive issues.
    • Experience in reviewing, creating and formatting a variety of documents, including briefing materials, correspondence, memos, detailed reports and presentations.
    • Experience managing diverse workloads effectively and independently, including coordinating briefing materials and correspondence in a fast-paced, high volume and tight deadline work environment.
    • Experience working in an executive office.
       

Preference may be given to applicants with the following experience:

  • Experience with SharePoint and eApprovals

About this Position:
There is currently one (1) permanent opportunity available.
Remote work is allowed, this position can work up to full time from their home in British Columbia subject to an approved telework agreement. The locations listed above are to assist applicants in searching for this opportunity and are not a complete list of locations.
