The Team
The BC Review Board Registry team is a well-established group made up of key roles, including Hearing Administrators, a Scheduling team, Intake & Application Coordinator and an Evidence and Records Coordinator, all supported by a Deputy Registrar and Registrar. The team is collaborative and works closely with Parties to the proceedings. The Role
Join a team dedicated to excellence and innovation! In this role, you will develop clear, up-to-date procedural and substantive guidelines and create impactful training materials for BC Review Board (BCRB) members and staff. You will play a critical role in analyzing and refining the Board’s procedures, ensuring decisions meet the highest standards through validation and quality assurance. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing the Board’s effectiveness and accessibility.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 2 years of related experience.
  • Experience in legal analysis, writing and communication.
  • Experience in a legal/court registry, administrative tribunal, mental health environment and/or justice sector.
  • Experience dealing with senior officials and providing advice and recommendations. 
  • Experience in legal, economic, social or legislative research and analysis. 
  • Experience interpreting and applying legislation, regulations and/or policies.
  • Experience working with the BC Review Board’s mandate, legislation, procedures, and initiatives.

This position can be based out of any of the location(s) listed above.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 4 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill both current and/or future permanent vacancies.
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be required.
Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
