The Team
The Corporate Accounting Services (CAS) team in the Office of the Comptroller General (OCG) plays a key role in delivering innovative and client-focused financial and IT solutions to support government programs and accountability. The Role
As Director, you will lead and manage the delivery of innovative and cost-effective solutions through high-quality project management services. Acting as a key client contact for Corporate Accounting Services (CAS), you will collaborate on strategic initiatives and IM/IT projects, ensuring alignment with government priorities. This leadership role values diverse perspectives and fosters an inclusive approach to building solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients and partners.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • A minimum of 5 years of recent (within the last 7 years) experience in relevant project work in a complex technology-enabled environment (e.g. in an enterprise resource management environment with multiple client groups).
  • A minimum of 3 years of recent (within the last 5 years) experience in a management role in project delivery in a complex technology-enabled environment.
  • A minimum of 2 years of recent (within the last 5 years) experience in a supervisory role.
  • Experience with accountability and performance management as well as change management.
  • Experience with contract and financial management.
  • Experience building and actively managing relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders, including senior executives.

Preference may be given to applicants with:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation or other certification in Project Management.
  • Project management experience with enterprise financial system projects.
  • Project management experience in a public sector environment.

Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 4 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
