The Team
The Road Safety Initiatives, Digital Tools Operations team is a close-knit group of four dedicated professionals responsible for supporting eTicketing and digital forms used by police across British Columbia. As an established team, they play a crucial role in maintaining tools that enhance police efficiency and effectiveness, replacing paper-based processes with digital solutions. Joining this team offers terrific opportunities to learn new skills, collaborate with law enforcement, and contribute to a project that has been a cornerstone of road safety since 2016.
The Role
As the Coordinator, Education & Training, you’ll play a key role in supporting police officers across British Columbia by coordinating education and training for eTicketing and Digital Forms. This work has a meaningful impact, saving officers time and frustration while ensuring accurate and efficient information processing. Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Adult Education, Communications, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in planning, developing, and implementing training and professional development initiatives.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience leading and facilitating project teams while working with multiple stakeholders to deliver a product, program, or service.
Preference may be given to applicants with:
- Experience with the Police Records Information Management Environment (PRIME-BC) computer system.
- Experience working with concurrent hardware and software implementations.
- Experience procuring, negotiating, and managing third party contracts.

Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home a few days a week subject to an approved telework agreement.
