The Team
You’ll be joining the Account Operations Team, a small, collaborative group of three within the larger Revenue Services of British Columbia team of 43 people. This is an established team that values clear communication and teamwork, not just within their group but across the organization. They work closely with Revenue and Collection Analysts to ensure payments are applied correctly, accounts are balanced, and funds are accurately moved—making a real impact on financial accuracy and client trust. The Role
As a Revenue Operations Analyst, you’ll play an important role in resolving payment and accounts receivable issues by working with client ministries, senior staff, and outside agencies. You’ll review, calculate, and verify transactions, post adjustments, and prepare journal vouchers to keep accounts and the general ledger accurate. This work helps citizens by ensuring their payments are applied correctly and supports ministries in maintaining financial integrity. It’s a great opportunity to learn the foundations of government finance while contributing to a team that values collaboration, inclusion, and service excellence.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Secondary school graduation and enrolment in a recognized financial management program plus 2 years’ related work experience; OR equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered

 Related experience must include 2 years recent experience in each of the following:

  • Providing customer service to clients
  • Maintaining, adjusting, balancing and reconciling financial transactions in an accounts receivable/payable role
  • Analyzing and interpreting financial information and performing adjustments
  • Application of general finance and administration policies and procedures

Preference may be given to applicants with the following:

  • Experience working with and understanding the government Corporate Financial System (CFS) CAS Oracle 
  • Experience working in a debt collection; or enforcement; or compliance environment

About this Position:
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home a few days a week subject to an approved telework agreement.
