Description
The Team
In the Legal Services Branch, the Articling and Professional Development Programs operate with support from Branch committees, made up of LSB staff, Executive Leadership Team, and Senior Leadership Team members.
The Role
The Manager provides program management for the programs, including human resource, finance, marketing/outreach, and administration, and as a member of the respective committees provides expert advice and support in the development and execution of the programs and on development of policy. The Manager works closely with various teams (e.g. legal assistant of the program, HR, legal office managers, etc.).
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Diploma in Human Resources Management, Public Administration (or related field) or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Experience in staff supervision and staff development.
- Experience with written and oral communication.
- Experience with recruitment competitions.
- Experience working independently and as a contributing team member.
Preference may be given to applicants with:
- Experience in human resources management.
- Experience in a legal work environment.
- Experience in student development.
- Experience in managing a professional development program.
- Experience with diversity and inclusion in hiring practices.
- Experience demonstrating a commitment to reconciliation and the rights of Indigenous peoples.

This position has full time on-site requirements.
This is a temporary opportunity until August 13th, 2027. This position may be extended or become permanent.
