Description
The Team
The Jurisdiction Support and Intergovernmental Relations Branch is a collaborative and inclusive team committed to supporting Indigenous Jurisdiction and strengthening relationships across the ministry. You’ll join our Project Management Team, an established group of four professionals who provide expertise and guidance on priority projects and governance processes. We value diverse perspectives and work closely with colleagues across the branch and ministry—including project and change analysts, senior managers, policy experts, and communications teams—to ensure projects are managed consistently and effectively. Together, we strive to create meaningful impact by supporting Indigenous Jurisdiction and fostering respectful, innovative solutions.
The Role
As a Senior Project Analyst on the Project Management team, you will lead multiple projects within the Indigenous Jurisdiction portfolio, applying best practices to ensure successful delivery. This role is an opportunity to advance reconciliation by supporting Indigenous Peoples’ inherent rights to jurisdiction and self-governance over their children, youth, and families—work that helps reduce the overrepresentation of Indigenous children in government care. You’ll collaborate across teams to plan, track, and report on projects, while contributing to meaningful change that honors the distinct cultures, histories, and priorities of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples.
