The Role
As the Performance Management Analyst, you will lead the development and implementation of the performance management framework for the Employment and Labour Market Services division of the Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction. You will work with internal and external partners to develop and implement accountability and performance criteria, playing a critical role in shaping evidence-based policies and strategic decisions. Your work will directly impact programs like WorkBC, helping unemployed and underemployed British Columbians overcome barriers and find sustainable employment. This new role with the Analytics team is an opportunity to apply your planning and evaluation experience as well as creative skills to implement internal and public-facing plans and reports, while making a meaningful difference in people's lives across the province.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Master’s Degree and 1 year of related experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of related experience; OR
  • Diploma and 3 years related experience; OR
  • Certificate or coursework and 4 years related experience; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
     

Years of related experience must be in each of the following:

  • Experience conducting long-term planning.
  • Experience conducting performance evaluations of business operations.

This position can be based in any SDPR office. The locations listed above are to assist applicants in searching for this opportunity and are not a complete list of locations.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home up to 5 days a week subject to an approved telework agreement.
There is currently a temporary opportunity available until Jan 31, 2027. This temporary opportunity may become permanent.
