Description

The Team
The Community Integration Services Branch is dedicated to improving the lives of British Columbia’s most vulnerable people, offering critical income assistance and support to those navigating homelessness, trauma, mental illness, and substance use challenges. The Branch is made up of a frontline service delivery team and a behind-the-scenes support team, with over 200 dedicated frontline staff working alongside an Executive Director, Directors, managers, and policy analysts. As part of this fast-paced, action-oriented environment, the team fosters a “why not?” and “how can I help?” culture, ensuring that every effort is made to deliver meaningful results for both clients and colleagues.

The Role
Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, The Administrative and Asset Administrator provides administrative and financial support services, including coordinating the use of equipment and management of assets, including fleet vehicle bookings and maintaining/distributing supplies, to Branch staff throughout the province.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Successful completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
     

Preference may be given to applicants with the following:

  • Experience providing facilities management services.
  • Experience providing records management services.
  • Experience providing financial management services.
  • Experience working with people who are living in poverty, experiencing homelessness and may have mental illness and/or substance use disorders.
  • Experience working with people with disabilities.
  • Qualified applicants who self-identify as Indigenous (First Nations status or non-status, Inuit and/or Métis), LGBTQ2S+, a person with a disability, and/or a visible minority, with the required combination of education and experience.

About this Position:
This is a temporary opportunity until March 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension and/or the position becoming permanent.
Flexible work options are available, this position may be able to work up to one or more days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be required.
