Description

The Team
The Data Integrity Team, is a small and highly specialized group that plays a critical role in the Employment Standards Branch by managing the intake, triage, and accuracy of all incoming complaints. The team supports core branch operations by managing the Branch’s case management system, conducting searches, coordinating correspondence, and ensuring complaints are routed appropriately, while also handling due diligence and Attorney General searches, tribunal updates, licensing intake, and system support across the Branch.

The Role
In this role, you will receive, review, and validate incoming submissions and applications, clarify case information with clients, and maintain accurate records in branch information systems. You will also monitor data quality and consistency, identify discrepancies, and correct issues to ensure reliable information supports investigations, decision-making, and service delivery.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One (1) year of experience in word processing and other computer applications such as MS Word, Outlook, Excel.
  • One (1) year of experience using databases to enter, update, search, retrieve and extract data ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Experience providing client service.
  • Experience applying regulations or policies.
  • Experience working in an office setting.


Preference may be given to applicants with the following:

  • More than one (1) year of experience in the requirements above.
  • Experience entering large volumes of data quickly and accurately.
  • Experience working with BC Government records management systems.
  • Experience using a digital case management system.
  • Experience using Salesforce software.
  • Two (2) years of written communication experience preparing clear, concise, and professional written materials.

About this Position:
Two (2) permanent positions and one (1) temporary position are available.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to four (4) days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be required.
Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
