The Team
The Corporate Finance team is an established group of 27 people, with three staff dedicated to Financial Operations. You’ll collaborate with a variety of partners—including program staff, the Ministry of Finance, OCG, 3CMB, Risk Management Branch, and the CAS Helpdesk—to support accurate, equitable financial processing and guidance. The work is meaningful, fast‑paced, and strengthened by strong teamwork and client service.
The Role
This position offers the opportunity to learn all areas of the team’s financial operations, including processing accounts payable, contracts, journal vouchers, and payments to students, while also responding to a wide range of financial inquiries. You’ll supervise the financial operations support services group, with responsibility for the Purchasing Cards program and other accounting supports, and you’ll contribute to special projects by offering guidance and helping resolve issues in an inclusive and solution‑focused way. The Senior Financial Services Representative also works closely with the Budgets and Corporate Reporting unit to maintain the chart of accounts and support ad‑hoc requests, ensuring financial processes are accurate, accessible, and aligned with policy.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Finance or Economics. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
- Minimum of six (6) months experience in accounts payable or receivable in a computerized environment.
- Minimum of six (6) months experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Minimum of twelve (12) months experience with financial systems (e.g. CFS, CSAS).
Preference may be given to applicants with:
- Formal education or training in Business Administration, Public Administration, Commerce, Accounting or equivalent.
- Supervisory experience.

This is a temporary opportunity until November 26, 2026. This position may be extended or become permanent.
