Job Overview
The Manager of Certification Operations supervises the day-to-day service delivery work of the unit under the direction and guidance of the Director of Operations and the Director of Certification. The Certification Unit consists of a team of 7 evaluators, 5 evaluation technicians and an intake team of 8 staff.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in education, public policy or administration, related field or equivalent.
- One (1) year experience in each of the following:
- Simultaneously managing and motivating a large team and overseeing complex programs.
- Planning, implementing, and delivering of assigned portions of a project required.
- Interpreting and applying legislation, regulations and/or policies.
- Experience responding to and resolving escalated inquiries from clients and/or external and internal partners, including across multiple levels of government.
Preference may be given to candidates with:
- Experience in national and international transcript and credential evaluation and fraudulent documents detection.
- Additional years of experience in any of the above requirements/preferences.
