Job Overview
The Data, Analytics and Solutions Lead is responsible for actively engaging the division in a discussion about data, analytics and operational digital solutions.  The role fills a critical gap in supporting staff across the division to use data as part of their daily decision-making processes. The position lead activities such as improved story telling, data visualizations and enhanced user experience, oversees project management and evaluation initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of data-driven tools by coordinating cross-functional teams and managing project timelines, scope and resources. Supporting the business intelligence strategy this role collects feedback and requirements to ensure the implementation of tools and resources meet the needs of the division. The position also oversees operational business applications and both the development and maintenance of tools.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Statistics, economics; OR
  • An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and related experience may be considered.
  • Experience in analyzing and evaluating program performance.
  • Experience communicating with a diverse group of partners to collect feedback through project reviews and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement in alignment with project goals.

Preference may be given to applicants with:

  • Experience leading projects including project teams/groups. (e.g. managing project planning, prioritizing and facilitating effective collaboration using project management tools and/or agile approaches).
  • Experience with business intelligence software tools.
  • Experience in using human-centred design and serv ice design methods
  • Experience in using design, research, and collaboration tools (i.e., Figma, Mural, SurveyMonkey, and JIRA).

About this Position:
