Job Overview
The Communication Analyst provides a range of professional communications expertise and services within a large, fast-paced division, including communications planning, writing and editorial services, graphic design, and planning and coordinating virtual events (including logistics and technology).
Working with senior leaders, you possess strong communications and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to turn high-level concepts and planning into quality deliverables with considerable divisional impacts. Highly organized and adaptable, you manage competing priorities, thrive in complex environments and are a collaborative, creative professional with a growth mindset.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Certificate or diploma in a related field, such as communications, public relations, graphic design, writing, marketing, journalism or English, and
- Minimum of one year’s experience developing a variety of communication materials, such as presentations, reports, speaking notes, web content, or newsletters, OR
- An equivalent combination of related post-secondary education and experience may be considered.
Preference may be given to candidates with one or more of the following:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field, such as communications, public relations, graphic design, marketing or journalism.
- Two or more years of relevant professional experience.
- Two or more years of graphic design and/or data visualization training or experience.
- Two or more years of experience using graphic design software.
- One or more years of experience developing communications materials for employees working in flexible/hybrid and/or geographically dispersed work environments.
- One or more years of experience developing communications materials in a social sector environment.

About this Position:
There is currently a temporary opportunity available until November 30, 2027, this temporary opportunity may become permanent.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 4 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
