Job Overview
This position leads policy development projects that support the review and modernization of Ministry programs and legislation. Responsibilities include conducting research and analysis, coordinating consultations, and preparing briefing materials, business cases, and requests for proposal to inform senior decision making. This role requires strong project leadership, the ability to work collaboratively across ministries, partners and stakeholder groups, and the capacity to develop evidence based recommendations aligned with government priorities.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Master’s Degree and one (1) year of related experience; OR
- Bachelor’s Degree and two (2) years of related experience; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Related Experience may include:
- Experience researching policy issues and conducting policy analysis.

This position can be based in a Natural Resource Sector office. The locations listed above are to assist applicants in searching for this opportunity and are not a complete list of locations.
Depending on the successful candidate’s location, a bi-weekly isolation allowance may apply.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to two (2) days at home per week subject to an approved Telework Agreement.
Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
