Job Overview
Responsible for storing, shipping, receiving, inventorying and distribution of government and broader public sector surplus assets.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Grade 12 graduation or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in a warehouse or similar inventory control environment.
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience with MS Office, including Word and Excel, Internet, basic web site skills and e-mail.
  • Valid BC Class 5 Drivers License and must provide a 5-year Driver’s Abstract from ICBC.

Preference may be given to applicants with the following:

  • WSBC Forklift Operation Certificate.
  • Experience working with materials handling equipment.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, including basic knowledge of vehicles and equipment
  • Experience driving 3-ton and/or 5-ton trucks.
  • Three (3) months’ experience using SAP inventory system.
  • Six 6) months’ experience in an auction environment.

Provisos:

  • Willing and able to frequently move heavy weights, (Up to 30 Kg) e.g. boxes, furniture, large electronics, etc.
  • Valid BC Class 5 Drivers License
