The Role
As a Coroner, you’ll lead complex and sensitive death investigations to determine who died, and when, where, how, and by what means. Reporting to the Unit Director, you’ll work in a fast-paced, culturally respectful environment, often taking over cases from Field Coroners or conducting your own when needed.

Your work includes reviewing medical histories, assessing scenes, determining the need for post-mortems, and preparing detailed reports or presiding over inquests. You’ll also provide important updates to families and may make recommendations to help prevent future deaths.
