Job Overview
Reporting to the Regional Director, Community Corrections Division, the Regional Business Manager oversees the delivery of financial and administrative services for multiple, diverse and distinct program areas. Specifically, the Regional Business Manager provides business acumen and financial expertise in the management of the region’s resources (budgets, personnel, materials and assets).
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Degree in the financial management field, Accounting or Public or Business Administration plus 1 year related experience; OR
- Diploma in the financial management field, Accounting or Public or Business Administration plus 2 years related experience; OR
- Certificate/program completion, or some course work in a financial field plus 3 years of related experience; OR
- 4 years related experience, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
o Related experience includes: budgeting, financial and contract administration.
Preference may be given to applicants that have:
- Successful completion of the BC Public Service Financial Management and Control or Financial and Contract Management course; and/or successful completion of courses in Accounting, Public and/or Business Administration.
- At least 1 year of experience in contract management administration.
