Job Overview
The Senior Data Analyst is the Lead Analyst for a program, branch, division and or medium to large scale projects. Work conducted by the position directly contributes to the improvement of ministry or enterprise operations. The position undertakes fully independent professional data analysis and represents the ministry at meetings with partners.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Master’s degree and 1 year of related experience; OR
- Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of related experience; OR
- Diploma and 3 years related experience; OR
- Certificate or coursework and 4 years related experience; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Years of related experience must be in each of the following:
- Experience at leveraging structured and unstructured data sources to conduct quantitative analysis.
- Experience using Power BI to develop dashboards, data models, and visualizations to support performance monitoring and executive decision-making.
- Experience with machine learning, clustering, and classification techniques to analyze diverse sources of data.
- Experience determining appropriate use of various problem structuring methods and statistical methods for sampling, distribution assessment, bias, and error.
- Experience creating and delivering executive-level presentations for the purpose of decision making.
Preference may be given to applicants with:
- More years of experience using Power BI to develop dashboards, data models, and visualizations to support performance monitoring and executive decision-making.

Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home up to 5 days a week subject to an approved telework agreement.
There is currently a temporary opportunity available until April 12, 2027 This temporary opportunity may become permanent.
