This is a restricted lateral posting open to employees who hold a BAND 1 base position.

Job Overview
Reporting to the General Manager, the Executive Coordinator provides strategic coordination of corporate priorities, planning and reporting. Other primary responsibilities include issues management and administrative oversight of the GM’s Office (GMO). Working closely with the executive team and management, the Executive Coordinator identifies, analyzes and prepares recommendations and responses for the Office and/or Ministry executive. The Executive Coordinator must also maintain effective working relationships with the ministry partners (DM’s Office, Minister’s Office) and BCLC. The Executive Coordinator is a contributing member of the IGCO Executive Committee.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Successful completion of secondary school graduation and relevant post-secondary training or equivalent experience may be considered.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior administrative role, working with executive members, managing highly confidential and sensitive issues.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience managing diverse workloads effectively and independently.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience managing the flow of information of a variety of documents, using e-Approvals and providing advice on written amendments.
  • Experience working with the MS Office suite products.


Preference may be given to applicants with:

  • More than 2 years of related experience.
  • Experience using CLIFF.
  • Experience using EDRMS.
  • Experience using e-Approvals.

This is a temporary opportunity until August 3rd, 2027. This position may be extended or become permanent.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 3 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
