Job Overview
The Senior Project Management Analyst leads and supports complex policy, legislative, and regulatory reform initiatives with province wide implications. The role focuses on coordinating multi-ministry reform projects, supporting senior decision makers through analysis, and ensuring that appropriate data, metrics, and evidence are gathered and applied to inform policy choices and track results.

Working in a highly complex policy environment, the position manages reform projects that span statutes, regulations, policy frameworks, and operational processes. The role emphasizes strategic project governance, policy analysis, reform scoping, and performance measurement, rather than operational service delivery.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Science, Natural Sciences, Resource Management, Environmental Studies, or related field and 1 year of relevant related experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Science, Natural Sciences, Resource Management, Environmental Studies, or related field and 2 years of relevant related experience; OR
  • Diploma in a related field (e.g. Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Resource Management, or Environmental Studies) and 3 years relevant related experience; OR
  • Certificate or coursework in a related field (e.g. Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Resource Management, or Environmental Studies) and 4 years relevant related experience; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.


Relevant related experience must include all of the following, gained in the last 5 years:

  • Experience independently managing projects.
  • Experience in directing the work of contracted and staff resources.


Preference may be given for:

  • Experience in permitting/authorizations in the natural resource sector.
  • Experience working with Statutory Decision Makers.
