Job Overview
The Justice Services Branch is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational support for the Attorney General and Public Safety Sector’s service transformation, including the provision of services to support sector program areas and stakeholders. The Business Systems Development and Support (BSDS) provides strategic leadership, project management coordination, and expertise through the management of business transformation projects and provides project management best practices support to all other Divisions.
This position is responsible for coordinating the development and delivery of scalable web applications in a continuous deployment environment.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
• Master’s degree in a computer science related field and 2 years of related experience; OR
• Bachelor’s degree in a computer science related field and 3 years of related experience; OR
• Diploma in a computer science related field and 4 years related experience; OR
• Certificate or coursework in a computer science related field and 5 years related experience; OR
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Related experience includes the following:
• Experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Experience using a variety of modern development tools, such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript libraries, relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with API development and integration and continuous development environments
• Preference may be given to those who have more experience combined with relevant education in this area.
Preference may be given to candidates with the following:
• Experience with Salesforce Apex coding and/or Omniscripts development
• Experience with the Agile product development lifecycle
• Experience with Boards, Tribunals, and Government Agencies/public sector processes
• Salesforce Platform Developer Certificate
• Experience working in an agile cross-functional teams alongside User Experience (UX)/Service Designers, Software Developers, and Scrum Masters to iteratively create or improve digital products and services from conception to production.
• Experience with Software Development best practices such as: simplicity, maintainability, coherence, testing, code quality, troubleshooting, and analytical problem solving.

Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home up to five (5) days a week subject to an approved telework agreement.
