Job Overview
The position coordinates issues management, leads projects and manages communications and finances in the Deputy Minister's office.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or higher in Business Administration or Public Administration and 1 year of related experience; OR
- Diploma and 2 years of related experience*; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and 3 years of related experience* may be considered.
*Related Experience:
- Experience managing the flow of information such as briefing notes, speaking notes and other meeting materials in an Executive office.
- Experience in a senior administrative role (e.g. priority management, identifying, analyzing and resolving issues).
- Experience dealing with highly confidential and sensitive issues within an Executive office.
- Experience managing diverse workloads effectively and independently.
Preference may be given to candidates with:
- Experience working in a Deputy Minister’s office or equivalent.
- 5 years’ experience in a senior administrative role (e.g. priority management, identifying, analyzing and resolving issues).
- Experience creating dashboards and trackers
