Job Overview
The Sr. Document and Print Systems Analyst leads systems design and planning, organizing and project management services related to the development of documents for printing and digital delivery. Develops sound technical business strategies incorporating government system standards. Provides innovation and technology leadership to the BC Mail Plus system and document development team that are responsible for supporting many ministry programs and broader public sector clients.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

•    Degree, diploma, certification in the computer science field, OR 
•    Equivalent combination of education and experience in the computer science field may be considered.
•    Experience providing technical advice to work teams.
•    Minimum two (2) years experience in each of the following:

  • Developing and maintaining AFP & PDF document-generation applications in HP Exstream or equivalent.
  • Designing and implementing Automated Document Factory (ADF) workflows.
  • Windows Server 2016+ administration (backup, account security, and custom application integration).
  • Assessing customer requirements, developing and implementing technical and business solutions.

•    Minimum one (1) year experience in each of the follow:

  • Windows-based SSH/SFTP and FTPS service hosting, troubleshooting, monitoring, and management.
  • Canada Post Electronic Mailing Tool process automation and data integration.
  • Administration of business records in an SAP-based system, especially billing data management.
  • Transformation of very large critical customer datasets into sanitized and printable formats, securely and in accordance with relevant privacy laws and Ministry security and privacy requirements.

About this Position:
There is one permanent position available in Victoria. 
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 2 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
