This is a restricted lateral posting open to employees who hold a Grid 27 base position

Job Overview
To lead and coordinate application development teams in the application development lifecycle and in planning, designing, developing, testing, enhancing and maintaining mission critical applications of significant complexity (multiple platforms, environments and technologies requiring integration of new and legacy systems), and cost. 

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Degree, diploma or certificate in Computer Science or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Experience with structured and object orientated programming in a complex rules-based environment.
  • Experience leading and participating in project teams including application developers, business area users and technical resources.
  • Experience in project management of complex enterprise IM/IT projects with multiple interdependencies including major business transformations, strategic communications and the oversight of system integrators.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment with User Experience (UX) teams, designers, and developers to iteratively create or improve digital products and services from conception to production.
  • Experience in a broad number of application development tools.
  • Experience in integration with common components and CAS.
  • Experience in data modelling, process modelling and/or business area analysis techniques.

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Experience in similar environments particularly those who have led large-scale systems modernization initiatives including end-to-end delivery across complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 5 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
