This is a restricted lateral posting open to employees who hold a Grid 15 base position

Job Overview
To provide support to regional operations management and staff and coordinate office administration functions, human resources, payroll, records management, facilities and asset management across the region.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Secondary School graduation or equivalent.
  • Experience providing administrative and financial support services for a group of staff.
  • Experience leading and supervising others.

Preference may be given to those with one (1) or more of the following:

  • Post-secondary courses or a Certificate/Diploma in office administration. 
  • Two (2) or more years of experience providing administrative and financial support services for a group of staff, preferably within the last three (3) years. 
  • Two (2) or more years of experience leading and supervising others, preferably within the last three (3) years. 
  • One (1) or more years of experience in records management, including the storage, retrieval and destruction of records.
  • One (1) or more years of experience providing financial functions (e.g. reconciliations, purchase card/petty cash management, CAS oracle, processing of invoices).

Willingness Statements:

  • Occasional travel may be required. Transportation arrangements must meet operational requirements.
  • May be exposed to unpleasant dealings in emotionally charged situations.

About this Position:
There is currently one (1) permanent, full time position available.
This position can be based in one of the following locations: Clearwater, Kamloops, Kelowna, Merritt, Penticton, or Vernon.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to two (2) days at home per week subject to an approved Telework Agreement.
Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies in the above locations.
Enhanced Security Screening will be required.
