Job Overview
To coordinate and lead research, analysis, engagement, and policy development in support land use planning priorities within the Ministry of Mining and Critical Minerals.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Degree in public administration, law, economics, natural resource management, environmental science, Indigenous studies or related field plus a minimum of 2 years related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.


Related experience must include:

  • Experience in the development, interpretation and application of legislation, regulation and policy.
  • Experience with issues identification, management and resolution.
  • Experience researching and conducting policy analysis.
  • Experience conducting research and analysis related to land use, resource management, social or economic development issues.
  • Preference may be given for experience working with Indigenous communities, facilitating consultations, and experience providing advice and recommendations to senior officials.

About this Position:
This position can be based in any Mining and Critical Minerals office. 
This is a temporary opportunity until 06/30/2029. This position may be extended or become permanent.
An eligibility list may be established for future temporary or permanent vacancies.
