This is a restricted lateral posting open to employees who hold a Grid 18 base position

Job Overview
The Field Educator position is responsible for identifying training needs, analyzing current training initiatives, proposing new training solutions, developing training programs and training staff within the Court Administration division. This position is also responsible for creating evaluation mechanisms for the training programs within their region. 

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent, and
  • Diploma in adult education or a related field, or related training development and coordination experience, or
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered
  • Experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power Point, MS Teams, and Excel programs
  • Experience in delivering a variety of organizational training initiatives

Preference may be given to applicants with one or more of the following:

  • 2 years registry and/or in-court operations experience.
  • Experience in Court Administration case tracking systems (JUSTIN, CEIS and CCD)
  • Experience developing training and delivering models
  • Experience delivering virtual training 
  • Experience preparing training plans and material
  • Experience identifying and finding solutions for training needs

Provisos:

  • May be required to work flexible hours
  • May be required to work overtime
  • Provincial travel required

  • There is one (1) full time permanent position available in Prince George.
