Job Overview
Within the Ministry of Attorney General, Court Services Branch, this position supports the continual improvement mandate of the Branch as an integral member of a team of senior analysts in the Strategic Information and Business Applications (SIBA) unit. The position conducts operational impact, cost/resource and program performance analysis; finds solutions and builds consensus regarding project performance measures, indicators and evaluations; manages justice-related business intelligence systems and data; and conducts data analysis to produce meaningful management information and analytics to support evidence-based executive and judicial decision-making and court innovations.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Completion of a related post-secondary diploma/degree and *related experience; OR
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
*Related experience must include:
- Experience conducting data research and/or information/resource analysis and development.
- Experience preparing for and carrying out special projects and program implementation related to sensitive and diverse issues.
- Experience with measuring program performance, project evaluation, information management, analytics and reporting, and conducting costing and resource analysis.
- Experience working with senior-level professionals and in leading teams.
Preference may be given to applicants with:
- Applicants with more years of experience.
- Experience building and executing PL/SQL or other SQL queries.
- Experience programming or scripting (e.g. Python, R, VBA, javascript, etc.) Languages.
- Experience with data warehouse or relational database techniques.
- Experience using IBM Cognos tools.
- Experience using Power BI or other dashboard development or visualisation tools.

Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 5 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
This position can be based in any Court Services Branch staffed courthouse. The locations listed above are to assist applicants in searching for this opportunity.
