Job Overview
The Budgets & Financial Services Branch provides a full range of financial support services centrally, to all business units of Government Communications and Public Engagement (GCPE) including, but not limited to financial planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting, financial policy and procedures development, accounts payable, accounts receivable/recoveries, purchasing, travel coordination, and procurement and contract services.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Secondary School graduation or equivalent.
  • Experience in accounting and budgeting.

Preference may be given to applicants with the following:

  • Post-secondary education in accounting and business
  • Experience working with CAS (Corporate Accounting System) and\or Oracle.

This position is based in Victoria.
This position is excluded from union membership.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home a few days a week subject to an approved telework agreement.
