This is a restricted lateral posting open to employees who hold a Grid 21 base position.
Job Overview
To develop and maintain ministry applications and make changes and enhancements through various phases of the application development lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer science related field and 1 year of related experience; OR
- Diploma in computer science field and 2 years related experience; OR
- Certificate or coursework in a computer science field and 3 years related experience; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Related experience includes the following:
- Experience developing, configuring, enhancing, or supporting web-based business applications within a complex enterprise environment
- Experience designing and developing reports, dashboards, data extracts, ad hoc queries or other business intelligence products.
- Experience developing and supporting applications using modern web technologies, including front-end languages (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and back-end or scripting languages (e.g., PHP, Python, or similar).
- Experience gathering, clarifying, and documenting business requirements to support application enhancements, reporting needs, testing and production support.
- Experience troubleshooting application issues, testing fixes, documenting changes and supporting production applications.
Preference may be given to applicants with one or more of the following:
- Experience working with eCommerce platforms, including Adobe Commerce Cloud (Magento) or similar commercial off-the-shelf platforms.
- Experience working in Waterfall, Agile, or Scrum methodologies to support the planning, delivery, and sustainment of technology solutions.
