This is a restricted lateral posting open to employees who hold a Grid 9 base position.
Job Overview
To provide general administrative, clerical, and program support to the work unit.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Secondary school graduation (GED);
- 1 year of stenographic, secretarial, or administrative support experience;
- Experience/training in keyboarding, word processing, spreadsheet and other standard computer based applications; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preference may be given to applicants with the following:
- Dicta-typing experience.
- Experience in word processing medico-legal documentation.
- Medical Office Assistant and/or Legal Secretarial training and experience using medical, psychiatric, psychological terminology.

About this Position:

This is a temporary opportunity until September 30, 2026, with the possibility of extension and/or the position becoming permanent.
Flexible work options are available, this position may be able to work up to one or more days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
This position works out of the Kelowna office but may be required to travel.
This position may be required to travel throughout the province.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) and Criminal Record Review Act Check (CRRA) will be required.
Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
