Description

This is a restricted lateral posting open to employees who hold a Grid 21 base position.

Job Overview
The Document and Print Systems Analyst provides document development and project management services related to the implementation of print and mail services done by BC Mail Plus. This position develops sound technical business strategies incorporating government system standards. The position works with BC Mail Production Coordinators and clients to gather technical information to build documents for production.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Certificate (or higher) in a computer science field;
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
  • One year or more experience in assessing customer requirements, developing dynamic documents, implementing technical and business solutions, and utilising project management methods.
  • Experience implementing quality assurance and testing principles and practices.
  • Preference may be given to applicants with experience working with Advanced Function Presentation (AFP) design and print operations.
  • Preference may be given to applicants with experience in delivery of IT programs in the public sector.
  • Preference may be given to applicants with experience working with enterprise print composition platforms.
