Job Overview
The primary focus of this position is to manage the procurement life-cycle of high risk, and politically sensitive major construction projects. This includes all professional design, engineering, project management and other specialized consulting services, as well as construction tender and contract award.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Degree, diploma, designation or equivalent in a related field (i.e. procurement and contract management, risk management, law or related).
  • An equivalent of education and experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of related experience in the full procurement life cycle and analyzing complex issues, evaluating options and recommending solutions.
  • Preference may be given to those with direct experience in managing complex procurements for construction.

About this Position:
There is currently one (1) permanent, full time position available in Victoria.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to four (4) days at home per week subject to an approved Telework Agreement.
Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies in Victoria.
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be required.
