This is a restricted lateral posting open to employees who hold a Grid 15 base position

Job Overview
To provide front counter court services and perform quasi-judicial duties as a Deputy District Registrar or Registrar. To endorse legal documents, perform counter services, help clients understand legal documents and approve payment of monies held in court. To maintain records related to chambers applications and maintain and secure registry files.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Certificate or coursework in a related field and 1 year of *related experience; OR
  • Secondary School graduation (Dogwood, GED) and 2 years of *related experience; OR
  • Evergreen and 3 years of *related experience; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.


Related Experience may include:

  • Experience working with Court Registry related documentation and processes.

 
Professional Registration and Certification Requirements

  • Must be able to qualify for signing authority as a Deputy District Registrar.
