Description

This is a restricted lateral posting open to employees who hold a Band 3 base position.

Job Overview
Reporting to the Director, the Manager, Vehicles and Industry is responsible for independently leading long-term policy development and new program design to ensure the Province is on track to meet the Government’s clean transportation objectives.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Degree in business administration, public administration, science, social sciences, natural resource management, or a related field; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered. 
  • Minimum three years of experience at a senior level leading projects of a large scale and complexity that included multiple project delivery components.


Preference may be given to applicants with the following:

  • Masters degree in business administration, public administration, science, social sciences, natural resource management, or a related field.
  • Experience with policy and/or projects of a technical nature relating to energy, the environment, natural resources or engineering. 
  • Minimum five years of experience at a senior level leading projects of a large scale and complexity that included multiple project delivery components.
  • Experience working in clean transportation and with zero emission vehicles specifically.
  • Experience with economic development activities including sector overview reports.

Remote work is allowed, this position can work up to full time from their home in British Columbia subject to an approved telework agreement.
