This is a restricted lateral posting open to employees who hold a (Grid 18) base position.

Job Overview
The Senior Revenue and Collection Analyst is responsible for the day to day training, coaching and procedural guidance to a team of Revenue and Collection Analysts on payment and credit allocations, refunds and trust management.  Ensures delinquent accounts are actioned in a timely and efficient manner and provides exceptional client service delivery to diverse client groups both internally and externally to government.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirement
s

  • Certificate in business administration, public administration, or financial management or in a related field; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Work experience must include the following:

  • Three (3) years’ experience in a public facing role.
  • Two (2) years’ demonstrated work experience maintaining, adjusting, and balancing payment transactions in a debt collection or other accounts receivable/payable role.
  • Two (2) years’ experience actively collecting aged receivable debt.
  • One (1) year’s experience working with relevant provincial/federal statutes, legislation, regulations and/or policies relating to debt collection and interpreting financial information.

Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home a few days a week subject to an approved telework agreement.
