Job Overview
The Program Assistant provides a variety of office administrative, secretarial, and financial support services for the branch and coordinates the day-to-day priorities of the Director, Driver Programs, including providing liaison with ministry executive offices.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Secondary School graduation (Dogwood, GED) and;
  • At least six (6) months’ experience working in an office setting; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience/training in keyboarding, database, word processing, spreadsheet, and other standard computer applications

Preference may be given to applicants with:

  • More than six (6) months’ experience working in an office setting
  • More than six (6) months’ experience/training in keyboarding, database, word processing, spreadsheet, and other standard computer applications
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

About this Position:
Amendment (July 22, 2026): Posting closing date extended to August 05, 2026.
This position is full time temporary opportunity until August 27, 2027. This position may be extended or become permanent.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to two (2) days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
