Description

The Team
The Corporate Services Division provides a broad range of corporate services to the Ministry of Finance and supported entities, including financial services, facilities, communications, business planning, IM/IT, occupational health and safety, and human resources. The Communications, Reporting and Facilities Team (CRAFT) branch delivers client-focused facilities and workplace solutions that support ministry operations across the province.

The Role
Reporting to the Director of Facilities, the Facilities Project Manager leads accommodation and facilities projects, including office relocations, renovations, new construction, and office closures for the Ministry of Finance and supported entities. This role manages project budgets, contractors, and stakeholder relationships while ensuring compliance with safety, security, and environmental standards and delivering responsive service to a diverse client base.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Diploma related to facilities management, business administration, public administration, or building management. Plus 1 year *related experience. An equivalent combination of education, experience and training may be considered.


*Related experience in each of the following:

  • Independently managing large-scale facilities projects and leading project teams.
  • Applying knowledge of policies and procedures to facilities management, assets and purchasing.
  • Supporting multiple clients with competing priorities.
  • Liaising with multiple organizations and areas to accomplish business results.


Preference may be given to the following experience:

  • Applying government core policy and procedures to facilities management, assets and purchasing.
  •  Working with Real Property Division (RPD) and CBRE to manage building projects.
  • 2 years or more of related experience.
