The Team
The Omineca and Skeena Region LUPCE Team is an established and dynamic team of more than 20 professionals who work together on complex resource stewardship initiatives across Northern B.C. The Role
As a Land and Resource Coordinator, you will help develop and implement solutions to complex water, land, and resource stewardship challenges by working collaboratively with diverse teams, First Nations, stakeholders, and partners across sectors. This role offers an exciting opportunity to connect environmental, social, and economic priorities while supporting strong relationships and a healthy, resilient future for all British Columbians. Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a natural resource management related field (e.g., Forestry, Geography, or Natural Resource Management) 2 years of related experience; OR
- A Technical Diploma in a natural resource management related field (e.g., Forestry, Geography, or Natural Resource Management), or an equivalent combination of education/training plus, 3 or more years’ experience working in a natural resource discipline.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- A valid B.C. driver’s licence.
Related Experience may include
- Experience working in the natural resource sector.
- Experience managing multiple projects or a component (e.g., sub-project) of a major project or regional initiative.
- Experience working collaboratively with Indigenous groups or governments, and external partners.
- Experience facilitating groups whose members hold varying interests.
