The Team
Revenue Services of British Columbia (RSBC) is part of The Collection and Loan Management Team (CLMT) , a dedicated team committed to serving the people of British Columbia. As part of the Receivables Management Office within the Ministry of Finance, the team supports the province's revenue management by administering payments, refunds, and collections that help fund government programs. The successful candidate will join an established team of 54 employees and be part of a close-knit sub-team of four Senior Revenue and Collection Analysts. Working alongside supervisors, Senior Collection Officers, Collection Officers, Revenue and Collection Analysts, Business Analysts, and other professionals, you'll be part of a hardworking, collaborative group that values teamwork and takes pride in delivering exceptional service to British Columbians.
The Role
As a Senior Revenue and Collection Analyst, you'll provide day-to-day training, coaching, and procedural guidance to Revenue and Collection Analysts while supporting payment and credit allocations, refunds, and trust management. You'll help resolve complex issues, manage client and citizen escalations, and participate in testing system upgrades and process improvements to ensure services remain efficient and effective. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, continuous learning, and helping others succeed. Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Certificate in business administration, public administration, or financial management or in a related field; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Work experience must include the following:
- Three (3) years’ experience in a public facing role.
- Two (2) years’ demonstrated work experience maintaining, adjusting, and balancing payment transactions in a debt collection or other accounts receivable/payable role.
- Two (2) years’ experience actively collecting aged receivable debt.
- One (1) year’s experience working with relevant provincial/federal statutes, legislation, regulations and/or policies relating to debt collection and interpreting financial information.
Preference may be given to applicants with:
- Three (3) years’ experience in Receivables Management System such as Public Sector Collection and Disbursement/Customer Relationship Management(PSCD/CRM).
- One (1) year experience in Receivables Analysis and Performance Management (RAPM).

Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home up to a 5 days a week subject to an approved telework agreement.
