The Role
As the Management Coordinator, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the executive office, coordinate administrative services, and support the Regional Management Team in delivering key priorities. You will manage projects, coordinate responses to public and stakeholder inquiries, oversee budgets and administrative processes, and provide trusted support on confidential and time-sensitive matters that help the region operate effectively.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience Requirements

  • University/College degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or Public Sector Management or a related field and 1 year related* experience; OR
  • Grade 12 or GED and 5 years related* experience in a related field; OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience; AND
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint.

*Related experience should include:

  • Managing and leading projects and/or project components.
  • Hiring, leading or supervising, and training staff.
  • Direct support of senior/executive staff.

Preference may be given to applicants with:

  • 5 years related administrative experience.
  • 1 year experience hiring, leading or supervising, and training staff.
  • Experience working with Freedom of Information (FOI) requests.
  • Experience with TRIM/ARCS/ORCS and managing government records.

Provisos /Willingness statements

  • Willing to travel periodically on business overnight and year-round throughout the region.
  • Willing to work overtime on weeknights and weekends to travel or complete assignments within time frames, when required.

About this Position:
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 2 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
