The Role
The Senior Project Analyst manages large scale projects with significant direct service and operational impacts, a range of internal and external stakeholders and significant assigned resources. Accountable for defining and controlling all project activities, including building detailed workplans, mapping dependencies, sequencing deliverables, identifying risks and actively managing timelines, resources and stakeholder expectations.
Working with senior leaders, you will bring strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and the ability to facilitate structured planning sessions that translate strategic direction into actionable plans. Highly organized and adaptable, you manage competing priorities, thrive in complex environments, and are passionate about collaborative problem-solving.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, public administration, or a related field and 2 years of *related experience; OR
- Diploma in project management, business administration, public administration, or a related field and 3 years *related experience; OR
- Certificate in project management, business administration, public administration, or a related field and 4 years *related experience; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
*Related experience must include the following:
- Experience managing multiple projects or leading components (e.g., subproject) of major projects, including the development and maintenance of project work plans and other project management documentation.
- Experience in directing the work of contracted and/or staff resources.
Preference may be given to applicants with the following:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or eligible to complete within 6 months of commencement of position.
- Two or more years of experience managing public sector projects and initiatives.
- Two or more years of experience managing relationships with senior level partners.
- One or more years of experience coordinating and leading consultation sessions with stakeholders and partners.
- Self-identify as Indigenous (First Nations, status or non-status, Métis, or Inuit) with the required combination of education and experience.

About this Position:
Flexible work options are available, this position may be able to work up to four days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
