This is a restricted lateral posting open to employees who hold a Grid 9 base position

Job Overview:
The position provides reproduction (scanning) services or generate reports in Integrated Case Management (ICM) in response to Freedom of Information Requests (FOI) and information requests from public bodies (Law Enforcement) and/or Government Agencies governed by statutory or legislated power (Representative for Children and Youth, BC Coroner, Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee, Adoption Services, Civil Litigation, etc.) with competing legislated timelines, as well as general scanning and administrative support for the branch.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
  • Experience using standard office software (For example: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Experience using scanning equipment.

Preferences

  • Experience using MCFD applications: Integrated Case Management (ICM) and/or Management Information Systems (MIS) computer applications.

Proviso:

  • Must be able to lift heavy boxes (up to 50lbs).
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time at the work station, therefore, frequent stretching and attention to ergonomic health is a high priority.
  • Must handle old, dusty and often disturbing, highly confidential and sensitive materials.

There is currently two (2) full time permanent positions available.
This position has full time on-site requirements.
